Future Kid's school win basketball competitionSponsor Hyderabad, Oct 19 - Ishan Dubey of Oakridge International School and Katyayani Golem of Vidyaranya High School (Saifabad) continued to rule the pool in Sports For All, Hyderabad, powered by Byju's, at the Gachibowli Stadium on Saturday. Ishan, who had won the gold in the U-14 50 mts Boys' freestyle event, claimed the 100 mts freestyle gold too, with a time of 1:08.05 mins. Sesidhar Reddy Karumuru of Sri Bhavan's Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya (Sainikpuri) finished second while Navaneeth Bala Sai Srikar Madam of Johnson Grammar School ended with a bronze. However, it was Katyayani who emerged as the star of the day as she came up with a powerful performance and completed her 100 mts swim in the Under-14 in just 1:07.04 mins, which was a second faster than even the winner in the boys' category. Vritti Agarwal of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Atmakuri Rama Rao School (Jubilee Hills) won the silver medal, followed by Disha Kumar of The Future Kid's School. In the boys' U-16 freestyle, Charles Finney Yenumula of Vikas The Concept School (Bachupally) claimed the gold medal with a time of 1:05.25 mins, while Charles Wesley Yenumula clinched the silver medal to make it 1-2 for their school. Eshaan Arora of CHIREC International School (Cambridge & IB) took the last place on the podium. Raj Lakshmi Gogalupaati of Om Vidyalaya (Mansurabad) also maintained her perfect record in the championship and produced yet another power-packed performance to win the gold in the 100 mts Girls' Freestyle with a time of 1:13:90 mins. Johnson Grammar School's Kashyapi Vishal Galvankar clocked 1:17.39 mins to pocket the silver while Adhya Balakrishnan Beeravalli of Glendale Academy (Suncity) settled for the bronze medal after finishing the swim in 1:29.46 mins. In an all-Future Kid's School final, their Team 1 beat the Juniors team 16-8 to claim the Girls' U-14 basketball title. In the third-place play-offs for the bronze, Delhi Public School walloped Oakridge International School 19-2 to end their campaign with the bronze. --IANS dm/bbh
