Mr. Ratan Tata and Mr. Narayana Murthy have announced their retirement, and are planning to enjoy the days that come after their busy and very productive life. Both of them globally celebrated and admired for their business and personal accomplishments. Since India's independence and subsequent rise to be a global power, no two individuals who are not politicians commanded such great admiration in the global community as these two gentlemen. There are many other men and women of Indian ancestry that continue to contribute greatly to the global economic and commercial environment, but these two gentlemen who are embarking on retirement and becoming private citizens deserve to be prominently eulogized for their life long contributions to India and Indian business environment. Along with a fantastic record of meeting every expectation of the market in their business life cycle, they also encouraged globalization of Indian enterprise.

Tata name doesn't need any introduction in the world. From making soap to cars, human resources to major industry the name Tata is synonymous with goods that are made in India and deliver quality. From steel plants to Nano making there is no end to the list of big and small things made by Tata, and with quality that has lasted for many generations.

The last 20 odd years of global information technology development is owed to a large part to the Indian IT Industry. Hundreds, if not thousands of Indian companies have added value to the global IT boom, and continue to add value on a scale that was unplanned by the industry experts. Unbelievable contributions have been made by the IT Industry to the global work space, and many Indians lead major industries around the globe. The impact of Indian IT resources is undoubtedly lasting and will forever be live on the Internet.

There is a lot written of the success of Tata and InfoSys, and no new words will be able to capture the essence of the heads of these wonderful and well managed enterprises. Both the heads of the companies have assembled teams to find their replacements and allowing enough time for change in guard.
