Did Krishna find Raju Bhai? The answers for these questions will completely cook up the entire story of Sikander. Review : Performances : Suriya and Vidyut Jammal are main for this film and both these actors have done their best in delivering some notable and remarkable performances. The characters are not designed in a proper way and that was the main reason for feeling bored at times with the flat performances of the lead actors. We have seen the talent of Suriya many times and Vidyut Jammal is also not new for us. This duo has done a spectacular job with their performances! Samantha, the lead lady surprises all the audiences all of a sudden with a bikini wear and she looks stunning and extremely hot in the bikini wear. She has a glamorous role in the film and her glamour is not sufficient for the film as the story did not make any impression! Manoj Bajpai is also excellent in his negative role! The remaining cast of the film failed to impress us. Cinematography : The cinematography is handled by Santhosh Sivan and the cinematography is at top notch and he is a high class cinematographer who could deliver his best for an ordinary stuff and cinematography is good. Editing : Editor is Anthony and the editing is completely dull and the film tests our patience and the run time is too high. Why did editor did not send few scenes into trash bin is a big question!? Music : The music of this film is not upto the mark and the music fails to please us. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for this film, except for few songs the remaining is not impressive. The back ground score of the film is good but Yuvan could have delivered more which is missing. Story & Dialogues & Screenplay & Direction : The story of the film is an outdated mass commercial romantic entertainer where the audiences feel bored of watching the long scenes and irritating sequences. The story is quite predictable and the narration falls flat. The dialogues are true translation from Tamil to telugu which makes us feel awkward and meaningless. The film unit has tried their best but could not make effective efforts in story department. The direction by N.Linguswamy is highly disappointing effort and the director has failed in every aspect of the film and keeps on testing his skills with unnecessary sequences and scenes in this film. Linguswamy direction is a drawback and he fails to impress this time and serves us a very old dish with old taste. Sikander From Reviewer View : Sikander is a very hyped and much awaited film from Suriya under the direction of Linguswamy but the film has failed to provide the required ingredients and the director has failed to bring out the best from his team. An easily predictable story with uneffective and loose narration has spoiled the dish and Samantha glamour also did not work well. The actors tried their best to leave an impression but unfortunately at the end of 170th minute, the viewer comes out with a dis satisfaction. The film has some stylish and superb action sequences and the film is highly recommended for Suriya hard core fans and the rest can take rest! First half : Good Second Half : Boring Verdict : Sikander is a misfire with irritating BANG BANG BANG sounds! Watch it if you are Suriya fan, unless take rest this weekend!
