Will the father and son get to know about this?
Will Madhu makes his father realize the facts?
Will the story be a happy ending?
The answers for the above questions form the rest of the story.
Performances :
Naga Showrya is a good performer. He proved what he is with the film Oohalu Gusagusa lade and he is back again with the film Dikkulu Chudaku Ramayya. Showrya has a huge potential of performing any kind of role and more way to go for Showrya.
Sana Makbul makes her debut with the film and she is okay in her role as Samata and dubbing by RJ Kajal deserves a mention as it suited well. The heroine is okay in this film and there is nothing more to mention.
Ajay is the actual hero in the story. The entire story of the film revolves around him and he makes every magical moment. He tried very hard to make us mesmerize with his performance and he has succeeded to the maximum extent in the process. Ajay has got one more best performing roles in his career with this film.
Indraja makes a decent comeback with this film and she is good in her role as a wife and mother.
The rest of the cast made their presence felt.
Plus Points :
Music
Back Ground Score
Performances
Minus Points :
Direction
Second half
Screenplay
Cinematography :
The cinematography is handled by Rajasekhar and it is just okay and there is more scope to extract some wonderful visuals in the film but the cinematography work was limited.
Editing :
Thammiraju is the editor for this film. The editing is good. The runtime is little more. There are many unwanted boring scenes which could have chopped.
Music :
The music is done by MM Keeravani. The best part of the film is Music and the music is the soul in the movie. The back ground score also need to be mentioned as it is at top notch. BGM has perfectly elevated the scenes in the movie.
Story & Screenplay & Dialogues & Direction :
The story of the film is routine and simple as we might have come across this kind of plots in the past. A father and son loving the same girl and the son later try and succeed in making his father realize and finishes the story with a happy ending. The makers have chosen this concept as it appeals new and fresh for current day young generation and they succeeded in that. The screenplay damages the story to maximum portion and tests the patience in the theatres.
Trikoti, the former associate to Rajamouli has turned director with this film and he also failed like all the others in the past. Kannan, Karun Kumar, Mahadev Somayaji have failed to prove as directors who worked with Rajamouli earlier. Now, Trikoti also joins the list. The attempt is appreciable but it is not completely convincing and a better execution with proper duration might have changed the result.
Dikkulu Chudaku Ramayya From Reviewer View :
Dikkulu Chudaku Ramayya, the romance comedy genre has some interesting elements that will appeal to you and the film also carries a good story but the poor and flat screenplay accompanied with improper execution will test our patience. Ajay performance will be a highlight and MM Keeravani BGM is fantastic. The film though has a routine story, the makers tried to give a new and unique approach. Concept wise, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya goes where not many mainstream films go but we could not root for it wholeheartedly. There are few amazing moments in the film and then you yawn at boring episodes. A little patience to watch the second half might make It a worthy watch.
First Half : Good
Second Half : Boring
Verdict :
Dikkulu Chudaku Ramayya is a rom-com movie that tests your patience and appeals to you in parts. Try for it if interested.
