What happens after that? What is the original character of Ganesh? Did the live in together relationship worked out? The answers for the above questions cook up the entire story of this film. Review : Performances :
Adith has acted in the film ‘Katha’ earlier and he is very talented and proved it again with his performance. Weekend Love completely gave a freedom to this actor to open up himself and he performed well in the film. Sailaja made an impression with her earlier film Rushi and she also did very well Both the lead actors performed well in their limitations and made the film a watchable attempt with their performances. The rest of the cast that includes MS Narayana, Sri Hari, Rao Ramesh, Thagubothu Ramesh, Srinivasa Reddy, Prithvi, Prabhas Srinu are okay in their roles.Cinematography : The cinematography is handled by GS Raj and he has made the film look great with some wonderful visuals. Cinematography is neat in the film. Editing : Editor is Praveen Pudi and the film could be edited for few more scenes too. The film is a bit slow. It could have been crisper! Music : The music is done by Sekhar Chandra. He has delivered fine music for the film and his back ground score is also apt. A couple of songs give some pleasant feel. Story & Screenplay & Dialogues & Direction : The story, screenplay and dialogues are penned by the director himself and the film at some points looks like a routine flick dealt with a bit different approach and you find several references too. The story is good but we have been watching the films like this several times and the director tried to go for commercial values and there are few up and downs too and the director has maintained good command on all the departments. The audience feel bore with few scenes and there are some unwanted scenes and songs. Weekend Love From Reviewer View : The first half of the film starts slow and gradually picks up the pace. The film is completely performances oriented and the lead actors did their job well and made the film watchable with their good performances. The film screenplay has lags and you feel bored at several points and the film is made with pretty less budget and the production values are good. The film makers could have concentrated well on the subject to avoid ups and downs First half : Boring Second Half : Good Verdict : Weekend Love is a one time watchable love story with some good performances and dialogues!
