A week ago, the film ‘Saripoda Sanivaaram’ hit the theaters and garnered positive reviews. While it didn’t achieve the status of a blockbuster, it still managed to earn a reputation as a “feel-good watch.”

Many believe that with a bit more trimming, the movie could have reached blockbuster status. Apart from the runtime, there weren’t any significant flaws worth mentioning.

Audiences were captivated by the outstanding performances of Nani and SJ Suryah. Some scenes even gave viewers goosebumps. It came as a surprise to many that a class director like Vivek Athreya could produce such a mass entertainer.

The film is being regarded as one of the best action thrillers in recent Tollywood history. However, the length of the movie was a frequent complaint. Despite this, it managed to rake in ₹25 crores on its opening day and surpassed ₹70 crores in just a week.

Moreover, heavy rains negatively impacted the film’s performance. Otherwise, it would have likely entered the ₹100 crore club by now. Meanwhile, the film’s upcoming OTT release has been creating a stir on social media.

Inside sources reveal that Netflix acquired the digital rights to the movie for a staggering ₹45 crores, making it the highest deal in Nani’s career.

The movie is rumored to debut on OTT starting September 27, though an official announcement is still awaited.
