Jr NTR admitted he is nervous about the release of his upcoming film, Devara. Speaking at the trailer launch in Mumbai, the actor revealed that Devara is not only his first release since RRR but also his first solo release as a leading Telugu star in six years, which has made him quite nervous. However, he expressed excitement about showcasing the trailer and film to his fans. The movie also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, marking their first appearances in Telugu films.

Jr NTR shared, “I am very nervous because this is my next film after RRR. RRR was with my co-actor Ram Charan, but this is my solo release after six years, so there is a lot of nervousness building up. Nevertheless, I am very happy to launch the trailer of Devara in Mumbai.”

The last time Jr NTR was in Mumbai for promotions was for RRR. Reflecting on that experience, he said, “The experience we had when promoting RRR here was surreal. The acceptance from the North shocked us all, and I hope it repeats with Devara.”

Devara Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva, is set to release on September 27, 2024. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, the film will be available in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. It promises to be an action-drama with a captivating narrative.

Earlier this year, Jr NTR spoke about the film and expressed confidence that it would make audiences proud. At the Tillu Square success event, he said, “I don’t know if this is a bit too much, but I’ll say it anyway. I’m wearing a shirt today, and this shirt has a collar. Even if Devara is delayed by a few days, I guarantee that it will be a film that will make all of you raise your collars in pride. We are working hard and will continue to do so to deliver the best for our audience.”c
