In a compassionate gesture, BRS Working President KTR recently offered his heartfelt condolences to renowned director N. Shankar, celebrated for films like ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’. Shankar is grappling with the profound loss of his mother, Nimmala Sakkubayamma, who passed away last week. KTR’s visit aimed to provide solace and support to the esteemed filmmaker during this period of deep sorrow.

KTR Offers Comfort to Director

BRS Working President KTR recently met renowned director N. Shankar to offer his condolences following the passing of Shankar’s mother, Nimmala Sakkubayamma, last week. KTR met Shankar today to offer him words of comfort during this time of deep sorrow.

N. Shankar, who hails from Chirumarthi village in Madgulapally Mandal of Nalgonda district, made his debut as a director in Tollywood with the film ‘Encounter’ in 1997. He is known for directing several super hit films including Sreeramulayya, Bhadrachalam, Jayam Manadera, Ayudham, and the critically acclaimed ‘Jaibolo Telangana’.

Shankar: Filmmaker Behind Telangana Movement

The film ‘Jaibolo Telangana’, released in 2011, played a significant role in galvanizing the Telangana movement of that time. For his work on this film, Nimmala Shankar received the Best Director award, while Gaddar was honored with the Best Male Playback Singer award. The movie featured Jagapathi Babu and Smriti Irani in lead roles, with music composed by Chakri.
