Tollywood actress Shivani Nagaram is currently at the heart of a massive online storm, all thanks to an unprecedented claim: a 15-minute darshan at the sacred Tirumala temple. While common devotees vie for fleeting seconds, her alleged extended spiritual encounter has ignited a firestorm, prompting netizens to demand answers from TTD and decry the glaring disparity.

Minute Darshan: Privilege or Outrage?

Sensational news about Tollywood actress Shivani Nagaram is going viral, stirring up a storm of comments. She reportedly had a record darshan lasting a full 15 minutes in Tirumala, prompting widespread discussion and criticism from netizens. For common devotees in Tirumala, even getting a 10-second darshan of the Lord is difficult. Even celebrities might get a maximum of one minute during VIP break darshan. Therefore, comments stating this actress had a 15-minute darshan have now gone viral, leading netizens to question TTD officials and criticize the disparity. Many are asking: ’15 minutes of darshan… How is this possible?’

The actress, who is on a roll scoring back-to-back hits with three consecutive films, recently visited Tirumala Sri Vari after the success of her film ‘Little Hearts’. Her visit occurred during the Brahmotsavams, when Shivani reportedly received a special darshan lasting an astonishing 15 minutes. In an interview given as part of the promotions for her latest film, ‘Hey Balwanth’, she spoke about her Tirumala experience, notably stating, ‘I spoke to God like a friend.’ These comments are now going viral.

Her Story: Speaking to God Like a Friend

Recalling her experience, Shivani Nagaram elaborated: ‘When I went to Tirupati as a child, I wished to become very famous and earn a lot of money. After that, I wanted to go to Tirupati many times, but it never worked out. Each time, there was some obstacle. I went again after 13 years. I thanked God for everything he had given me. I spoke to God like a friend. My visit was during the Brahmotsavams, a time when darshan is very difficult. However, since it was after the success of “Little Hearts,” when I went to Tirumala, they told me they would let me stand near the entrance for a while. For 15 minutes, no one moved me, and no one put their hand on me to ask me to move. While some people were chanting “Govinda Govinda” on one side, some looked at me and asked, “Katyaayani, have you eaten?” At that moment, I felt like I didn’t need anything else in life; this was enough. My mother also came with me. My mother said, “Thanks, dear, because of you, I had a 15-minute darshan. I’m proud to be your mother.” I felt like, “Oh God, I don’t need anything more!” The clothes offered to the Lord are stored elsewhere. They took me there and touched a cloth to my face. That fragrance gave me a wonderful feeling. It felt as if God was telling me, “I am with you.” That was a very special feeling. Even in Shirdi, I stood for half an hour during the aarti. They remembered me and led me forward,’ she stated.

However, these comments by Shivani have only intensified the public outcry. Netizens are questioning TTD officials, criticizing that it’s difficult for common devotees to get even a few seconds. Shivani Nagaram’s Tirumala darshan has now become a hot topic, sparking widespread debate. We would like to know your opinions on this. Stay tuned for more interesting updates.

Looking Ahead

Shivani Nagaram’s quick darshan has undeniably sparked a vital conversation. The sacred sanctity of Tirumala hinges on equitable access for all devotees, not just the privileged. TTD now faces immense pressure to bridge this widening gap. The public’s faith, much like the queue lines, demands fairness and transparency for every single pilgrim seeking the Lord’s blessings.
