Just hours after she left us, our team had the fortune of paying her a musical tribute. It deeply pains me that I couldn’t see her one last time and receive her blessings. In a state of profound emptiness, trying to fulfill the responsibility of singing the wonderful songs she had sung… with every stanza I sang, that bitter reality struck my heart even more strongly.”
She further elaborated on her connection to the late singer: “In these days where everything needs to be explicitly stated to be understood and ‘appreciated’ (I am not seeking appreciation here), I want to tell one thing to all those who genuinely asked why I couldn’t go. I saw Amma, who was in the ambulance, through a video call. I took her blessings. This was made possible by our friend Ramu.
