In the Bengaluru rave party incident, actress Hema was recently arrested and released on bail. Just as the controversy seemed to be settling down, Hema received an unexpected shock. The Bengaluru police have now filed a charge sheet in connection with the rave party case, naming Hema along with 88 other individuals as accused. According to the charge sheet, the police claim that Hema consumed drugs during the party.
The charge sheet is over 1,000 pages long, and it specifically mentions that Hema used drugs. The police have concluded that she consumed MDMA, and a case has been registered against her under NDPS Section 27. However, in a recent interview, Hema denied any involvement with drugs, stating that she never took any.
Reacting to the filing of the charge sheet, Hema released a video offering her explanation. In the video, she said, “Today, I received good news. My lawyer informed me that my blood, hair, and nails samples came back negative in the charge sheet.”
She added, “Officially, the charge sheet shows that I tested negative, and all the tests I underwent also came back negative. I’m very happy.” Despite her claims, netizens began trolling her online, pointing out inconsistencies in her statements. They accused her of lying, saying, “You were in Bengaluru, but claimed to be at your Hyderabad farmhouse. Now you’re lying again. No one believes you.”
