Srikanth Odela, who made his directorial debut in the Telugu film industry with the movie Dasara, featuring Natural Star Nani, achieved tremendous success by earning over ₹100 crore with his first film, establishing himself as a director with a unique mark. Now, the movie Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, directed by Vivek Athreya and starring Nani, is set to release in theaters on August 29. In this context, Srikanth attended the recent pre-release event as a guest and shared an interesting story from his life related to his passion for films.
“I failed my Intermediate exams on purpose. If I had passed, my father would have made me pursue B.Tech. So, I intentionally failed one subject. Later, I found out that I needed to pass Intermediate to join film school. So, I passed Intermediate and joined film school. But even there, I failed. My father and uncle insisted that I pursue B.Tech or at least complete a degree. I had my Intermediate certificate, and they kept asking me to do B.Tech or a degree because of it. One day, out of frustration, I burned my Intermediate, 10th, and 7th-grade certificates,” Srikanth shared. This video has now gone viral on social media.
