During this time, Jr NTR and the Devara team sat down for a special interview with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, where they revealed several intriguing details about the film.

Jr NTR Discusses a Massive Underwater Action Sequence

In the interview, Jr NTR spoke about one of the film’s biggest action sequences, which involves an underwater scene. He explained, “For an underwater action sequence, we created a huge water pool in a studio. We installed around 200 man-made water tanks to shoot the scene. We shot for about 35 days, all underwater or in water-based environments. This is one of the most important sequences in Devara. We used water elements extensively throughout the movie. To make the action sequence look realistic, as if it was happening in the ocean, we used motorboats, wave machines, and other equipment. It was an expensive and challenging sequence to film, but the results are extraordinary. We even have scenes with sharks, which turned out amazing. Some scenes, which were just 15 seconds long, would take an entire day to shoot because underwater visibility wasn’t always perfect,” he shared, giving fans a glimpse into the intensity of the production.

Overcoming Fear and Growing Confidence

Jr NTR also shared his experiences working in Mumbai. “When I first came to Mumbai for an ad shoot, I was very nervous. I had heard a lot about Bollywood, and I was worried about how the technicians and artists would be. However, during the RRR promotions, that fear started to fade. Rajamouli guided me a lot during that time. Now, with Devara promotions, I have completely overcome that fear. I’ve realized that we are all united by cinema,” Jr NTR expressed, indicating how much he has grown in confidence while promoting his films.

Saif Ali Khan on His Role and Relationship with NTR’s Character

During the interview, Saif Ali Khan, who plays Bhaira in Devara, was asked by Sandeep Reddy Vanga about the relationship between Bhaira and NTR’s character, Devara. “Are they friends or enemies?” Vanga asked. Saif smartly responded, “I can’t reveal everything. If I do, it will spoil the story.” At this point, Jr NTR jumped in and said, “There is a strong relationship between our characters.” Saif echoed NTR’s statement, saying, “Yes, there is a very strong relationship between us.”

Janhvi Kapoor’s Role and NTR’s Praise

When it came to discussing Janhvi Kapoor’s role in the film, the actress was asked whether her character is Devara’s wife or lover. Janhvi cleverly responded, “There is a strong relationship between us,” without giving away too many details. NTR then praised Janhvi’s performance, saying he was shocked by how well she acted. “She was incredible,” NTR added. Director Koratala Siva also revealed that Janhvi’s character will have a more significant presence in the second part of the film, leaving fans eager to see more of her performance.
