The Jana Sena Party, led by Pawan Kalyan, has continued its critique of Tollywood star Allu Arjun. After initial remarks by Bollisetti Srinivas, a Jana Sena MLA from Tadepalli Gudem, Ramesh Babu, a leader from Hanuman Junction, escalated the situation by threatening to ban the screening of Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated film, “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” in the Gannavaram constituency. Babu has even demanded that Allu Arjun offer a symbolic gesture of apology to megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan.
Ramesh Babu declared that on December 6, 2024, when “Pushpa 2” is set to release, no theaters in the Gannavaram constituency will be allowed to screen the film, and no promotional materials like posters or flexis will be permitted. His controversial demand for Allu Arjun to wipe the feet of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan and place them on his head as a sign of repentance has sparked significant discussion.
Directed by Sukumar, “Pushpa 2: The Rule” stars Allu Arjun in a much-anticipated role, with fans eagerly awaiting its release. However, this growing conflict raises questions about the film’s reception in certain regions, making it a contentious issue in the Telugu film industry.
As this situation develops, all eyes will be on how both the Jana Sena Party and Allu Arjun respond.
