Jr NTR is all set with his latest worldwide release – Devara: Part 1. This Koratala Siva starrer is his solo release in the last six years. Ahead of the worldwide release of this movie, this drama premiered at the Beyond Fest in Los Angeles. A viral video shows how a fan from Japan travelled all across to Los Angeles to watch the movie and get a glimpse of the actor.
The video, which has now gone viral, was posted by the team of Devara: Part 1 on their X (formerly known as Twitter). The video shows Jr NTR in a heartwarming conversation with his fan. The fan was on the other side of the security and the two interacted with from a fenced gate. The woman was emotional throughout as she talked to the actor. Sharing the video, they wrote, “How far would you go for your favourite…? @KO19830520 traveled all the way from Tokyo to Los Angeles just to watch #Devara with @tarak9999 at the @BeyondFest. And when he met, her reaction was priceless! What a moment to witness!”
The fan asked Jr NTR to visit Japan and the actor assured her that he would visit her country soon. Devara: Part 1 was released in cinemas worldwide on September 27. The movie had crossed the Rs 60 crore mark in its advance bookings in India. The highest earnings were fetched from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The movie also crossed the $2 million mark in advance bookings in the US markets.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 stars Jr NTR in a dual role. The movie revolves around a man who embarks on a sea journey to protect his people. The drama also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in pivotal roles.
