Jr. NTR’s highly anticipated film ‘Devara’, directed by Koratala Siva, is slated for release on September 27. To mark the upcoming launch, a pre-release event was scheduled for September 22 at a prominent hotel in Hyderabad.
The event drew a substantial crowd of NTR fans from both Telugu states. However, due to restricted entry permissions, some fans became restless. Their enthusiasm escalated, leading to the destruction of the hotel’s partitions. Police forces intervened, deploying batons to disperse the crowd and restore order. Despite these efforts, the situation became unmanageable, resulting in the cancellation of the event. Consequently, disappointed fans exited the venue.
In response to the incident, Jr. NTR released a video statement saying, “It is extremely disheartening that the ‘Devara’ pre-release event could not take place. We had to cancel the event due to security reasons. I believe it is necessary to hold the producers and event organizers accountable for this. I am forever grateful for your unwavering support. Although we couldn’t meet today, we will be together on September 27. Your blessings are essential for ‘Devara’. It is my responsibility to ensure you have a memorable experience.”
Regarding ‘Devara’, this film marks Jr. NTR’s latest project following his role in ‘RRR’. Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie stars Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role, with Saif Ali Khan playing a pivotal character. ‘Devara’ is being produced in two parts, with the first installment set to release on September 27.
We regret being in this situation but are forever grateful to our beloved Man of Masses NTR’s fans. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
