Netizens Troll RK Roja Over Deleted Tirumala Polls
Former minister RK Roja faced a huge backlash from netizens after she posted two controversial polls on social media related to Tirumala’s administration and the Laddu prasadam issue. The overwhelming negative response prompted her to delete both polls, but not before netizens captured screenshots, which are now being widely shared and used to mock her. Many users are accusing her of tarnishing the reputation of YS Jagan’s government.
What Happened?
After her recent defeat in the elections, RK Roja has kept a low profile, spending much of her time in Chennai. However, she recently resurfaced on social media to comment on the ongoing Tirumala Laddu controversy. Amidst discussions claiming that the sacred laddu prasadam had been desecrated by previous administrations, she conducted a poll asking, “Who governed Tirumala better?”
In this poll, an unexpected 76% of respondents voted in favor of Chandrababu Naidu, while only 24% supported YS Jagan’s administration. Shocked by the results, Roja quickly deleted the poll.
Second Poll and More Backlash
Not learning from the first incident, Roja launched a second poll asking, “Who is responsible for the Tirumala Laddu controversy?” Options included Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and YS Jagan. The results again came as a shock, with 72% blaming YS Jagan, and the remaining votes split between Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan. Once again, Roja deleted this poll, as well as the entire poll channel, after receiving intense criticism.
Trolling Continues
Netizens were quick to react, taking screenshots of the deleted polls and sharing them across social media platforms. Many have started trolling her extensively, with sarcastic comments and memes circulating widely, mocking her attempt to manipulate public opinion. The situation has escalated, with some criticizing her for damaging YS Jagan’s image.
Roja’s attempt to engage in public discourse backfired, leaving her at the receiving end of severe trolling from netizens.
