SIIMA 2024 Winners: Nani, Rakshit Shetty, Mrunal Thakur, and Keerthy Suresh Shine on the First Day

The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) kicked off on Saturday evening in Dubai, celebrating some of the finest talents in the South Indian film industry. Nani took home the Best Actor (Telugu) award for his performance in Dussehra, while Rakshit Shetty won Best Actor (Kannada) for Sapta Saagaradaache Ello – Side A. Both of Nani’s films, Dasara and Hi Nanna, also garnered several other awards.

The Best Actress (Telugu) award went to Keerthy Suresh for her role in Dasara, and Mrunal Thakur received the Best Actress (Kannada) award. Kaatera was named Best Film in Kannada, while Bhagavanth Kesari, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, won Best Film in Telugu. Anand Devarakonda, Vijay Devarakonda’s brother, was honored with the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Critics) award.
