Actors Karthi and Suriya have issued apologies to Pawan Kalyan after a recent incident involving a controversial remark about the Tirupati Laddu. During an event in Chennai, Karthi was asked about claims that animal fat was allegedly used in the laddus at Tirupati’s Sri Venkateswara Temple. The actor’s response, which involved laughter, sparked outrage among many, including Pawan Kalyan.

In response to the growing criticism, a prominent political figure in Andhra Pradesh addressed the issue, stating, “This is a sensitive matter, and it is not something to joke about. I urge members of the film fraternity to either support this cause or remain silent, but refrain from making inappropriate comments.”

Karthi later issued a public apology, stating, “With the utmost respect to Pawan Kalyan sir, I sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding caused. As a devoted follower of Lord Venkateswara, I deeply value our traditions.”

Suriya, Karthi’s brother, echoed the apology and added that he would be undertaking a personal vow as a gesture of atonement. Both actors expressed their regret and commitment to respecting the sentiments of devotees.
