Actor Ranveer Singh ’s Dhurandhar 2 is continuing its dream run at the box office while dominating social media chatter. And now, Aamir Khan has finally caught up with the film. Following that, the superstar took a moment to congratulate the team on its phenomenal success, applauding their hard work and creative vision.
Sharing a poster of the film, the handle tagged director Aditya Dhar along with actors Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal , R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.

Last month, Aamir revealed that he had yet to watch Dhurandhar 2. Speaking on the second day of the International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD) 2026, Aamir said, “I have not seen the film yet. But I hear only praises of the film. Dhurandhar 1 and now Dhurandhar 2. Both the films have done exceptionally well, and my very best wishes to the team.”
Dhurandhar 2 has collected over ₹ 900 crore net in India till now. At the moment, Dhurandhar 2 is eyeing to outpace the lifetime collections of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion ( ₹ 1,030.42 crore) and Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu film Pushpa 2: The Rise ( ₹ 1,234.10 crore) to become the highest-grossing Indian release of all time.
Aamir Khan’s Production Ventures: ‘Ek Din’ and ‘Lahore 1947’
Aamir is currently awaiting the release of his production, Ek Din. Helmed by Sunil Pandey, the romantic drama stars Aamir’s son and actor Junaid Khan, along with Sai Pallavi, in lead roles. The film is a remake of the 2016 Thai film One Day. It is scheduled to release in theatres on May 1.
Apart from this, he also has another production, Lahore 1947, in the pipeline. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film is set against the backdrop of the Partition of India in 1947. It stars Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh in key roles.
