As Jyothsna takes Karthik’s hand and says, “Come, brother-in-law, let’s go,” Paru thinks to herself, “There’s something fishy about her behavior.” Karthik stops the car near the temple. “Let’s go inside,” Jyothsna says. Karthik replies, “I’m not coming. The ‘sankalpam’ (resolution) is yours, go and perform the puja.” “I know how to get you inside,” Jyothsna says as she enters the temple.
