Melody Brahma Slams ‘Acharya’ Song Treatment

Mani Sharma’s sensational comments on ‘Acharya’ songs! “They butchered my song,” he fumes! Tollywood’s top music director Mani Sharma made sensational remarks about the film ‘Acharya’. His outburst, claiming his favourite song was butchered, has now become a hot topic.

Melody Brahma Mani Sharma, one of the top music directors active in the Telugu film industry for many years, composed music for ‘Acharya,’ starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mega Power Star Ram Charan. While the film’s music received good praise, the movie itself was a box office failure.

Acharya Music: Director’s Candid Analysis

Recently, the music director participated in an interview where he was asked about his satisfaction with the music he provided for ‘Acharya’. Mani Sharma responded, “I gave the ‘Neelambari’ song for ‘Acharya,’ which I composed believing it to be one of the best songs of my career. They butchered it. They released it only four days before the film’s release.”

He further added, “The ‘Bhale Bhale Banjara’ song, featuring Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, is a good song in my opinion. There’s no need to speak specifically about the ‘Laahe Laahe’ song. ‘Acharya’ doesn’t have many mass songs. When Chiranjeevi stars in a film, people expect mass beats. The lack of these might have caused some disappointment regarding the film’s music; otherwise, there’s nothing else.” Mani Sharma’s comments have now become a hot topic in the industry.

Looking Ahead

Mani Sharma’s unfiltered take has ignited a crucial industry debate. His point about Acharya’s music lacking the ‘mass’ punch for Megastar Chiranjeevi undeniably resonates with many. This candid critique now sets the stage for vital discussions on creative freedom versus commercial expectations, ensuring these musical echoes linger in Tollywood.
