Tollywood Stars Battle Piracy Epidemic

SHOCKING: Pawan, Prabhas films hit by piracy! Major stir in Tollywood!! Tollywood film fans are reeling from the mind-boggling news that the piracy demon has engulfed films starring Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Pan India Star Prabhas. The Telugu film industry is being profoundly shaken by this widespread piracy epidemic. Recently, hit movies released for Sankranti, alongside other blockbuster films creating a buzz in theaters, have fallen prey to piracy, causing deep disappointment among fans. Notably, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ movie was leaked due to piracy, and Prabhas’s blockbuster film also falling victim is a major topic of discussion across Tollywood.

The ‘Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce’ (TFCC) has taken serious note of this menace. A total of five films, including Power Star Pawan Kalyan‘s mass action entertainer ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ and another blockbuster starring Prabhas, recently appeared illegally on the internet. Other films affected include ‘Mana Shankaravaraprasad Garu’ (Chiranjeevi), ‘Anaganaga Oka Raju’ (Naveen Polishetty), and ‘Naari Naari Naduma Murari’ (Sharwanand).

Film Chamber representatives approached the Cyber Crime police, stating that some miscreants uploaded these films in HD quality on piracy sites, causing losses worth crores of rupees to producers. Upon receiving the complaint from the Film Chamber, Hyderabad Cyber Crime police immediately initiated action. They registered cases and launched raids on piracy websites, with strict action promised against culprits.

Police Crack Down on Film Leaks

Police intensified their investigation to identify the operators of primary websites involved in piracy, specifically mentioning Movierulz, Cinewood, and TamilMV, which are now under special surveillance. Furthermore, they are in discussions with telecom companies to block such sites that promote piracy.

The Cyber Crime department issued a stern warning: “Watching pirated content and sharing those links on social media is a crime. Strict action will be taken against such individuals. We must protect the industry by watching films only in theaters.” Piracy is creating a major stir in Tollywood, and police are actively taking action.
