Tollywood star Raashi Khanna has just revealed a jaw-dropping secret dream! Far from the silver screen, her true aspiration isn’t acting but becoming an IAS officer. This surprising ambition was candidly shared with none other than Pawan Kalyan, sparking immense curiosity. What prompted this big reveal from the popular actress?
Raashi’s Secret IAS Dream
Shocking: Not a heroine… This is Raashi Khanna’s real dream! Did she leak it in front of Pawan Kalyan? A sensational piece of information about Tollywood actress Raashi Khanna has come to light! She reportedly didn’t want to become a doctor, nor an actor. Do you know what her actual dream was? She revealed it in front of Pawan Kalyan!
After entering Tollywood with `Oohalu Gusagusalade` and quickly becoming a leading heroine, Raashi Khanna recently experienced a lull in her career due to a lack of suitable films and hits. However, her role in the upcoming `Ustaad Bhagat Singh` has revitalized her. The film, starring Pawan Kalyan as the hero, is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Harish Shankar. Sreeleela also features as a lead actress, with Raashi Khanna playing one of the heroines. Acting alongside Pawan Kalyan, a long-held dream, has now come true for Raashi, and she openly shared her happiness. `Ustaad Bhagat Singh` is slated for release on the 19th of this month as a Ugadi gift.
Speaking to the media on Monday about the film, Raashi stated, “As soon as I heard it was a Pawan Kalyan film, I immediately said yes with great enthusiasm, without even listening to the story. Ever since my first film, I had heard about Pawan Kalyan’s stardom and ‘Pawanism,’ and I wished to do at least one film with him. My dream has come true with `Ustaad Bhagat Singh`. My character’s name in this film is Shloka, a modern girl. Every character has significance, and mine also has strong characterization. I have a mass song in this film, and since I love to dance, I thoroughly enjoyed shooting it.”
On this occasion, Raashi Khanna also opened up about her real dream. She revealed that she never wanted to become an actress or enter films, nor did she ever consider becoming a doctor. In fact, she aspired to become an IAS officer. She disclosed this aspiration to Pawan Kalyan himself. “Pawan Kalyan is a very simple person, always seen reading books. There’s an unknown innocence about him,” she shared. “On the very first day, he asked me if I had always wanted to be an actress. I replied, ‘No sir, I wanted to become an IAS officer.’ He speaks little, but every word he says holds value. He told me to serve the people. Pawan Kalyan always thinks about the people. I learned humanity from him. Watching his fans from the stage at the `Ustaad` event, it felt like they worship him like a god.”
Pawan Kalyan Film: Dream Fulfilled
Raashi also praised the film’s director and producers, adding, “Harish Shankar is very smart. He deeply understands the pulse of the masses. He completed a shoot that normally takes 120 days in just 40 days. He worked incredibly hard for the film, even sacrificing sleep. During the shoot, he would write punch dialogues right on the set. Harish has a lot of patience. I learned a great deal from observing his dedication to cinema. The producers of this film poured their heart and soul into it. They don’t compromise on the budget and give the director complete freedom.”
Regarding `Ustaad Bhagat Singh` and her role, Raashi mentioned, “I don’t have scenes with Sreeleela. Each character is unique, and my character also has good variations. Harish Shankar had informed me beforehand that Pawan Kalyan’s schedules can be unpredictable, and I told him I would adjust accordingly. Sometimes, I worked 24-hour shifts, without distinguishing between day and night. Like `Gabbar Singh`, this film will also be very entertaining. It’s a family film; everyone can watch it together in theatres. I hope this film, releasing during the Ugadi festival, will be enjoyed by all. You will see vintage Pawan Kalyan.”
Beyond Tollywood, Raashi Khanna is currently working on a film with Akshay Kumar in Hindi and the `Farzi 2` show. She is set to play a Punjabi police character in an Amazon series and is also acting in `Rowdy and Co` in Tamil. Additionally, Raashi Khanna is reportedly listening to scripts in Telugu for future projects.

Raashi’s IAS dream reveals an intellect as sharp as her pan-Indian career is diverse. Juggling Hindi films, Tamil series, and more, her ambition knows no bounds. Whether her intellectual pursuits lead to public service or further fuel her cinematic journey, her impactful future is certain. A true pride for our screens!
