According to Praneeth’s complaint, “On May 4, 2025, Amitov Teja’s associates – Manikumar, Laxmikanth Reddy, and Ramnath Reddy – illegally confined me. During this time, they not only forcibly obtained my signatures on blank papers and cheques but also made my wife sign property documents. Furthermore, they behaved indecently with my wife.” Praneeth initially approached the Jubilee Hills Police Station, but after receiving no response for two months, he brought the matter to the Nampally Court. The court, after examining the complaint, ordered the police to register a case. Consequently, on Friday, the Jubilee Hills police registered cases against Amitov Teja and his associates under various sections.
Meanwhile, Amitov Teja has also filed a counter-complaint at the Jubilee Hills Police Station, alleging that Praneeth and his wife defrauded him of up to 72 lakhs in the name of investment in the trading business. The police have registered a case based on Amitov’s allegations as well.
