Why Tovino Skipped NTR’s Film

He elaborated on his decision during a press meet organized in Hyderabad for his upcoming big-budget Pan-India movie, ‘Pallichattambi’.
In ‘Pallichattambi’, Tovino Thomas and Kayadu Lohar are starring as lead actors. The film is being produced by Noufal, Brijeesh, Chanakya, Chaitanya, and Charan under the banners of World Wide Films and C Cube Bros Entertainments. Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, this prestigious movie is geared up for a grand release on April 10th in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
When media personnel at the event asked actor Tovino Thomas if he was doing the ‘NTRNeel’ film, he responded, “Allocating dates for that film is a very difficult task under current circumstances. I am currently committed to other films. I don’t like doing two or three films at once; I move on to another film only after completing one. Compared to Malayalam filmmaking, Telugu filmmaking is very different. Telugu films have more schedules. In the time it takes to do one big Telugu film, I can do four or five films in Malayalam. That’s why I’m not doing that film.”
Pallichattambi: His 1950s Dream Project
Speaking about ‘Pallichattambi’, he added, “Director Dijo and I have been planning to do a project for the past few years, and it has finally materialized now. This film is set against the backdrop of the 1950s. We did a lot of research to recreate the atmosphere of that era, taking all precautions to ensure that this film, set in the 1950s, would appeal to audiences in 2026. Such a film wouldn’t be possible without a passionate team. During this journey, Dijo and I also had discussions about collaborating on more projects. Dijo became a good friend of mine during the shooting of this movie. Producers Charan, Chaitanya, and Chanakya are working as a team, making their dreams come true. This dream project wouldn’t have been completed without good producers like Noufal and Brijeesh. The two of them were the backbone of the movie. From April 10th, ‘Pallichattambi’ is going to be everyone’s movie.”
