CM Revanth’s Digital Leap for Tollywood

Breaking: CM Revanth’s Sensational Decision for Tollywood’s Future! Everything Online from Now On! CM Revanth Reddy has made a major announcement regarding the development of Tollywood, stating that the film industry would have no looking back from now on. His vision includes: * Full government support for the film industry.
* Permissions to be processed entirely online through a single-window system.
* An emphasis on Hyderabad as a global film hub, attracting entities like Netflix and Dolby Atmos.
* A direct instruction to Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka to establish the online platform.

These significant pronouncements were made on March 19, during the grand organization of the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards festival at Hitec City, Hyderabad. The event, celebrating the Gaddar Awards for the year 2025, saw the attendance of CM Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, and a galaxy of stars including Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika, alongside numerous other film and political dignitaries.

CM Revanth took the opportunity to speak about the film industry and the awards, congratulating all the winners. In his address, CM Revanth underscored the government’s commitment, stating, “Just as we recognize the IT and Pharma industries, we are also recognizing the film industry. That’s why we are providing encouragement by restarting awards that were halted for 10 years.” He drew parallels with other countries where robust government policies have significantly boosted their film industries, promising similar promotion from the Telangana government. He highlighted Hyderabad’s growing prominence, noting, “Recently, Netflix arrived in Hyderabad, Dolby Atmos arrived, and Hollywood is coming here. Hyderabad is the only city for the global film industry.”

Gaddar Awards Host Industry’s Bright Future

To further encourage filmmaking and streamline shooting processes in the state, the Telangana government will introduce a single-window system for permissions. CM Revanth explicitly stated, “Today, I am instructing our Deputy Chief Minister, Bhatti Vikramarka, to create a platform where all necessary state government permissions can be issued through a single window, and entirely online. Filmmakers should not have to run around offices or worry about permissions. An online platform should be developed to issue all permissions, thereby encouraging the film industry.”

This visionary decision by CM Revanth Reddy is poised to infuse new life into Tollywood, fostering an environment conducive to growth and international recognition. Stay tuned for more updates.

Looking Ahead

Indeed, this is not merely a policy change, but a pivotal moment. We foresee Hyderabad becoming the undisputed epicentre of global cinematic excellence, with Telugu films consistently garnering worldwide acclaim. A truly golden era for our industry has begun!
