Rajasekhar Returns: India’s Motocross First
Angry Man Rajasekhar is set to make a much-anticipated return to the big screen with his upcoming film, ‘Biker,’ releasing on April 3rd. This high-octane racing drama, produced under the UV Creations banner and directed by Charming Star Sharwanand and Abhilash Reddy, marks Rajasekhar’s first film after a long hiatus. Touted as India’s inaugural motocross adventurous film, ‘Biker’ will be released in premium formats such as Dolby Cinema, EPIQ, 4DX, and PCX. Its glimpses, songs, teaser, and trailer have already generated significant buzz, paving the way for a grand theatrical release.
During the film’s promotions, actor Rajasekhar shared insights into both the movie and his profound personal connection to bikes. “A film I’ve acted in is releasing after a long time,” he expressed. “This is a film I made with great passion. I’m eagerly waiting for April 3rd. As the release date nears, everyone feels tension, but I’m very happy. I’m eagerly waiting to see when it releases and how much the audience appreciates it, just like with my other films.”
He emphasized his selection process: “Firstly, any role I play must be good and appealing to me. Only then can I do it. Also, it’s not enough for the character to be good; the film should also perform wonderfully. The story must be good. When I heard the story of ‘Biker,’ I did this film because I liked both my character and the story. This film will be a super hit in terms of its story. There’s no doubt about it. Also, my character has turned out wonderfully. I am eagerly awaiting the film’s release.”
Lifelong Love: Rajasekhar’s Bike Journey
Rajasekhar’s enthusiasm for the film is deeply rooted in his lifelong love for bikes. “I’ve loved bikes since childhood,” he recalled. “My grandmother’s house had a Bullet bike. Every time I visited my grandmother’s house during holidays, I would ride that Bullet all over the village. After that, my interest in bikes naturally grew.” His passion led him to purchase a Yamaha 650cc bike during the filming of ‘Seshu,’ which he used for shooting and rode daily with immense affection. However, his wife, Jeevitha, concerned by his dangerous riding, “sold the bike without my knowledge.”
In ‘Biker,’ Rajasekhar’s character is named Bullet Sunil. While he couldn’t reveal full details about this role, he urged, “everyone has to see it in the theater.” Rajasekhar is confident that ‘Biker’ will be a super hit, a sentiment he eagerly awaits to share with the audience.
Looking Ahead
Rajasekhar’s confidence in ‘Biker’ as ‘Bullet Sunil’ is palpable, urging a theatrical watch. If his gut instinct proves right, this film could well be the super hit he anticipates. It might just reignite the ‘Angry Young Man’s’ fiery presence, proving his screen journey is far from over.
