Rajasekhar has truly set Tollywood abuzz! The veteran actor reportedly declined a pivotal villain role opposite Balakrishna, even after a personal invitation. The reasons are currently captivating the entire industry.
Rajasekhar Declines: Chiru, Balayya Roles Skipped
Rajasekhar has created a sensation in Tollywood by reportedly declining a villain role in a Balakrishna movie, even after a personal invitation, and previously missing an opportunity to act with Chiranjeevi. This news has captivated the industry.
Once a shining star hero in Tollywood, Rajasekhar achieved successes on par with top heroes like Chiranjeevi and Balayya. While he has recently reduced his film output, appearing in movies only occasionally, he recently made interesting remarks in an interview about his past interactions regarding films with Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna. He stated, “In the past, I wanted to act alongside Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna. But due to some reasons, it didn’t materialize.”
Recalling a specific instance, Rajasekhar revealed, “When Mr. Chiranjeevi was making a film called ‘Sneham Kosam’, I offered to play his friend. But Mr. Chiranjeevi declined, reportedly saying, ‘You are much younger than me in age, so that role might not suit you.'” Vijayakumar ultimately played that character.
His Vision: Aiming for Truly Great Cinema
Similarly, Balakrishna himself first approached Rajasekhar to play the villain in ‘Jai Simha’. Rajasekhar recounted, “Balakrishna made the request, saying, ‘Brother, let’s ensure our action scenes are equally prominent. Please act in it.'” However, Rajasekhar felt that if he and Balakrishna were to act together, the movie should be truly exceptional. “My feeling was that if Balakrishna and I were to act together, that movie should be truly great. So, I would prefer to make an even better film if I collaborate with Balayya. That’s why I didn’t agree to ‘Jai Simha’,” Rajasekhar explained.
Rajasekhar’s career is now taking an interesting turn. He is currently starring in the movie ‘Biker’, which is preparing for a grand release on April 3rd. His last films included ‘Extra Ordinary Man’ and ‘Sekhar’. Keep an eye out for his new movie, ‘Biker’, and stay tuned for more Tollywood updates!

Rajasekhar’s journey, shaped by his unique choices, sparks endless discussion. While past ‘what ifs’ linger, ‘Biker’ signals a new direction. Can this veteran star now redefine his legacy, proving his distinct path leads to a compelling and impactful future? Tollywood eagerly awaits.
