Sensational remarks made by renowned female director B. V. Nandini Reddy about her marital status are going viral. Her candid comments, revealing the reasons for not getting married even at 46 and hinting at not having found “that one essential thing,” have captivated attention.

The film industry is widely known for its numerous unmarried individuals, including both bachelors and single women who choose to remain unmarried. Among these personalities, Nandini Reddy stands out as a prominent female director, acclaimed for her unique storylines and stunning screen visualization. Despite being 46 years old and living alone, she has surprised many by commenting on marriage for the first time. Her distinctive appearance, often seen in pants, a shirt, and with a masculine haircut, leads some unfamiliar with her to initially mistake her for a boy. However, anyone who discovers Nandini Reddy is quickly captivated by her talent and unique vision.

Professionally busy, Nandini Reddy recently directed ‘Deewana’, and at its first single release event, she shared her thoughts on marriage, alongside revealing the true story behind her acclaimed debut film, ‘Ala Modalaindi’.

Bathroom Blunders Behind ‘Ala Modalaindi’

The Real Story Behind ‘Ala Modalaindi’ Regarding a key scene in ‘Ala Modalaindi’ where actress Nithya Menen accidentally enters the men’s restroom, Nandini Reddy confessed that this incident was directly inspired by her own life. She revealed, “I too entered men’s restrooms many times. This was out of necessity, as film studios back then had very poor conditions, primarily catering to male personnel. With very few female technicians, separate restrooms for women were non-existent, making it a common occurrence for me during shoots.” She explained that while Nithya Menen’s character in the film meets Nani in the men’s restroom, leading to love, her real-life experiences were different. “In my real life, even when I went into men’s restrooms, nothing of that sort happened there. Maybe if I ever meet such a person in the future, I would marry them… but so far, such a day has not come in my life,” she stated, humorously hinting that she might be ready to marry if she found a “Nani” in a men’s restroom.

Meanwhile, Nandini Reddy is also directing a film titled ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’ with Samantha. Her recent remarks, particularly her revelation of incorporating personal life incidents into her films, have become a hot topic on social media, with more details anticipated soon.
