I was very disappointed there. It stayed in my mind ever since. I wanted to complete that scene somehow. Luckily, I got the chance to direct ‘Magadheera’ with Ram Charan. I then incorporated a similar scene into it – as soon as the horse saves Ram Charan, he lovingly strokes it and expresses his gratitude. That’s when I felt that scene was finally complete.”
